Privacy Policy
The League of Extraordinary Experiences (“LxE”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information may be collected through lxperience.com, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, account details, event registration or booking information, attendee information, contact-form messages, vendor inquiries, and information needed to complete a purchase or reservation.
We may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie identifiers, and interaction data used for security, site operation, analytics, and performance.
Bookings, payments, and accounts
Event registration and booking functions may be provided through EventPrime during the current migration period and through Bokey Events as that system is introduced. Store and account functions may use WooCommerce. Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers such as PayPal or Stripe. LxE does not need to store your full payment-card number when a payment processor handles the transaction; the processor may collect and process payment information under its own privacy terms.
Forms and communications
Forms on this site are powered in part by WPForms. When you submit a form, the information you enter may be stored in WordPress and delivered to the appropriate LxE operational mailbox. We use that information to respond to you, administer events, provide requested information, and maintain appropriate business records.
Analytics, performance, and third-party services
The site may use Google Site Kit, Google Analytics-related services, MonsterInsights, Jetpack/Automattic services, OptinMonster, Creative Mail, social-media links, and similar tools. These services may receive technical or usage information and may set non-essential cookies when permitted by your cookie choices. We use these services to understand site usage, improve performance, measure campaigns, and operate the website.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the site, provide events and services, process registrations and transactions, communicate with you, respond to requests, maintain records, improve the website, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, and protect LxE, our guests, partners, and systems.
How long we keep information
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including event administration, customer service, accounting, tax, legal, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and security needs. Different records may have different retention periods.
When information may be shared
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, communicate, process payments, or operate events. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce agreements, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business transaction involving LxE. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
Your choices and rights
You may use the cookie controls on this site to reject or manage non-essential cookies. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of certain personal information. Some information may need to be retained when required for legal, accounting, security, or contractual reasons.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the site and the information we handle. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
This site is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Individual events may have their own age requirements.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact LxE through the Contact page or email [email protected].
We may update this policy as our services, integrations, or legal obligations change. The date above indicates the latest revision.
